New Years Eve - Radio Social - Rochester NY

Radio Social is the reincarnation of Clover Lanes, which opened on Monroe Avenue in Brighton in 1957. When the Clover Lanes building closed to make way for retail developments in 2016, owner Dan Morgenstern decided to take his family’s bowling business in a new direction.

Morgenstern and his son, Noah reached out to nationally known, Rochester-based firm Staach for interior design and local restaurateur Chuck Cerankosky (co-owner of Restaurant Good Luck and Cure) to direct food and drink. Steven Eakins, a Fairport native, joins Radio Social from New York City as executive chef. He previously worked for the famed restaurateur Marc Murphy and competed on Food Network’s “Chopped.”

The Stromberg-Carlson warehouse on Carlson Road in the North Winton neighborhood is the perfect location for Radio Social. The name pays homage to the 40,000 square-foot facility which produced radios during World War II.

Radio Social is not just bowling; it’s an urban social experience and destination unlike anything Rochester has ever known. Radio Social offers an upscale recreational experience cities like Brooklyn, Nashville and Cleveland have enjoyed for years: the concept of a “social club” combined with world class food, drinks, bowling and games.
